Aaron McMurry
Designer
Aaron joined VJAA in late 2020 after receiving his Master of Architecture from the University of Texas in Austin. During his time in graduate school he received numerous accolades for his design work including an AIA Dallas Unbuilt Design Award as well as the Texas Architectural Foundation's Professor Goldsmith Memorial Scholarship. While in graduate school he also had the opportunity to study abroad in Tel Aviv, Israel where he and his partner's studio work received the design excellence distinction. As a native to the midwest he has also worked in Austin, Philadelphia as well as his hometown Columbia, Missouri, where he has taught architectural studios.
